Investor Relations Operations Specialist

The Investor Relations Operations Specialist plays a critical role in enabling efficient investor communications, strengthening portal infrastructure, and enhancing operational workflows across the Investor Relations function at Sower. This position requires independent judgment, strategic process thinking, and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally to improve systems that serve investors. Over time, this role is expected to expand beyond investor relations to support broader operational enablement across the firm.

INVESTOR RELATIONS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Communication & Portal Oversight:

  • Serve as the operational lead for Juniper Square, Sower’s investor portal, ensuring accuracy of investor records, content uploads, and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain templates, workflows, and systems for investor onboarding, communications, and reporting.
  • Partner with the Investor Relations team to respond to investor requests and inquiries with accurate, timely information.

Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization:

  • Evaluate investor-facing processes for inefficiencies and gaps; propose and implement improvements to streamline operations.
  • Standardize procedures, documentation, and internal playbooks used by the IR team.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to align content accuracy with compliance and regulatory expectations.

Data Governance & Reporting Support:

  • Maintain audit-ready investor records, transaction logs, and capital activity summaries.
  • Support the creation and coordination of quarterly investor reporting, capital call notices, and distribution communications.
  • Build and manage trackers and dashboards that increase visibility into IR performance and investor engagement.

Event & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Support planning, logistics, and execution of investor meetings, site visits, and firm events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and manage timelines and budgets to ensure quality delivery.
  • Ensure consistent documentation and internal preparation leading up to investor-facing events.

Cross-Functional Operations Enablement:

  • Partner with the Director of Investor Relations to support cross-vertical process alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to firmwide systems initiatives by documenting procedures, leading small-scale migrations, and enabling change adoption across teams.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to support due diligence and risk management efforts.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Business, Communications, Finance, Information Technology, or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in investor relations operations, process improvement, or business operations
  • Direct experience with investor portals; Juniper Square proficiency highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Confluence, and other documentation platforms
  • Six Sigma and/or Change Management certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and documentation governance capabilities
